At the Valley Crest 1/2 Marathon (6/13), Judy won her Age Group and the “Grand-Master” Category, as part of an official Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) trail race, in 1:43:25. Six days later, Judy raced the “Billy Goat Climb” 1/2 Marathon which was a grueling, 6.5 mile climb up 2400 ft – to the top of the Indian Truck Trail (a trail that starts at the base of the Santa Ana, California Mountains in the Cleveland National Forest) – and back down. Judy took
first palce in her age group and 4th female.
