With renewed energy and sense of purpose, John headed off for the Arizona Divide. The Arizona Divide is the highest point in the state, topping out at 7,335 feet. This is where the watershed changes the direction of the flow of water from east to west.

John Radich, ultramarathoner, nine-time Badwater Ultramarathon finisher and three-time Arizona 6 Day Race champion, is making his dream come true. John officially embarked on his epic run across America on Sunday July 4, 2010. From his starting point in Santa Monica, CA, and running along the historic Route 66 into Chicago, John will continue into New York and down to Washington, DC, for a total of 3,700 miles!

I chose the Onion Man Olympic distance triathlon (which includes a 1.5K swim, a 40K bicycle ride and a 10K run) as my “tune-up” race for the big showdown at the Hawaii 70.3 in June. The Hawaii 70.3 is a qualifier for the Kona Ironman Triathlon championship race. (The 70.3 consists of a 1.2-mile swim, a 56-mile bike ride and a 13.1 mile run.)

"In my last race I got 1st place in the first moto and with a bad start in the 2nd moto I came from fifth place to second with only 2 laps of practice on a new track. With the two races I ended up with a 2nd place overall in Lites Pro Class at Blackrock MX, in Kentucky.

With the 114th running of the Boston Marathon, Michael Goolkasian completed his 145th marathon and 20th Boston Marathon.

At the Valley Crest 1/2 Marathon (6/13), Judy won her Age Group and the "Grand-Master" Category, as part of an official Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) trail race, in 1:43:25.
