Triathlete Wins Big at Snake River Sprint Triathlon

Ben Greenfield smashed apart the field at the first race of 2010, the Snake River Sprint Triathlon. In this relatively short, small, yet very intense race of 200 competitors, he swam a 5:48 for the 500m, then rode completely away from the entire field, opening up a gap of more than 60 seconds by the time he arrived at T2 (Transition Station 2).

With a solid two-mile run, he ended up winning the event by 55 seconds.
